Treasurer Needed

To ensure the Group runs effectively we need a fully functioning Executive Committee. After supporting the Group over the last few years Marion, our current treasurer is stepping down. If you believe you have the time and the skills to help the Group please could you make contact with David. It’s vital that we fill the role to ensure we have a smooth handover during our year end accounting period.

I hope we can find someone.

Beavers Get Spotty

In support of Children In Need and the Blue Peter appeal the Beavers got spotty. BP (that’s Blue Peter not Baden Powell) are looking for people to draw and colour in spots so they can collect as many as they can. Well, they got loads from our Beavers…..

Cub and Scout Sleepover

On Friday 25th October a group our cubs and scouts spent the night sleeping the church at St Luke’s. With the weather being so bad the group spent most of the evening indoors but they still had a great night. Thanks to all the leaders for supporting the sleepover and especially Emma for her first night away as a Cub leader. BRAVO

Beavers Do Science

On Monday 6th our Beavers took part in Science Night. The looked at gravity, friction, static electricity and what desolves in water. All had a great evening and gained their Experiment Activity badges. BRAVO Beavers.
